Aluminum electrolytic capacitor is widely used in consumer electronics, industrial control, communication products, computer and peripheral products, instruments, automotive industry and other products, and is one of the main irreplaceable members of the capacitor family. The basic structure of the aluminum electrolytic capacitor is that there is an aluminum shell outside. The sealed aluminum shell is equipped with electronic aluminum foil, electrolytic paper, electrolyte, etc. and two positive and negative electrodes are led out. Due to the complexity of the structure and manufacturing process of aluminum electrolytic capacitor, some problems will inevitably appear in the process of production, storage and use, such as capacity attenuation and loss increase.
 
Generally, the reasons for the capacity attenuation of aluminum electrolytic capacitors are mainly as follows:
 
1. the poor contact between guide pin and aluminum foil leads to the increase of contact resistance and capacity attenuation, such as excessive riveting thickness, too much powder of anode aluminum foil, oil lubrication at the riveting needle and piercing hole, etc;
 
2. the electrolyte containing immersion in anode foil or cathode foil is insufficient, which leads to the capacity failure to be fully led out, resulting in capacity attenuation, such as poor viscosity of electrolyte, incomplete immersion or long drying time, poor sealing performance of electrolyte volatilization orReasons for loss;
 
3. the poor control of aging process parameters results in the capacity attenuation caused by the thickening of oxide film of anode or cathode foil, such as aging voltage or temperature too high, aging process bearing reverse voltage due to operation error.
